I don't think I get anywhere near 2000
I wish there was a more inexpensive cartridge that would give me more pages

Expensive but it doesn't leak
I tried the inexpensive generic toner cartridges including Staples' own brand but they have a tendency to leak toner resulting in baked-on toner and messy printing. This HP-branded toner has been more reliable. I hate the high price but leaky toner is a deal killer so I fork over the bucks. I do not get anywhere near 2000 prints.
