A Clarification...
For all those purchasing 920XL color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow), know that the dimensions of them are exactly the same as those of the regular 920 color ink cartridges. There is simply more ink in the cartridges!

920 ink and 6500 printer
Terrible ink performance and incorrect out of ink prompts. You may get 30 prints and then the out of ink message comes on, but you will get another 200 prints so just ignore the prompt

HP 6500A Plus seems to use up ink fast
Very disappointed with the lif eof cartridges, especially color. The preset printer settings on the 6500A Plus seem to be set to insure the maximum use of ink.

Doesn't live up to high yield promise.
We don't get anywhere near 1200 pages per cartridge. If we'd known the ink would be so expensive, would have bought a different printer.

The product works well
I use my home printer for various volunteer products as well as personal papers and letters. I don't think this ink gets the number of copies it suggests that it will.

Love the high ink yield of XL cartridge!
I am always doing flyers and notes for my Avon business.. I love the life of the cartridge!

nice performer but costly.
I am seriously considering refilling due to the high cost of a new cartridge + it makes "green" sense.

My opinion as a user
I have owned my HP printer officejet units all have always need hp cartridges to produce good photos, and everyday doucuments. I don't know if it's your printers or your ink cartridges that have lost their quality as in the past....
