A Clarification...
For all those purchasing 920XL color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow), know that the dimensions of them are exactly the same as those of the regular 920 color ink cartridges. There is simply more ink in the cartridges!

920 ink and 6500 printer
Terrible ink performance and incorrect out of ink prompts. You may get 30 prints and then the out of ink message comes on, but you will get another 200 prints so just ignore the prompt

HP Black Ink
My only complaint is the fact that the black ink smears my envelopes. Always, on the left edge. I often make greeting cards too and the black will often smear along the left side of a beautiful card.
The color inks don't do this - only the black. Too often the ink leaves light black lines down the entire front of my cards. It happens even when it is a brand new fresh ca...

Lower Yield Than Advertised
I use the product daily and my only complaint is that I do not get anywhere near 1200 pages in terms of yield. I use it to print general documents that include checks, pages from email and a variety of internal documents, and feel it is too expensive for the yield I get.

Good performance
Sure would love to be able to save money and get cartridges refilled, instead of having to replace with name brand every time. It would help the environment as well. I'm just sayin.

Actual yield varies
For the extra cost of the XL (High Yield), would hope for more copies. Fine print -- actual yield varies. Guess that covers HP's back. Good product, just doesn't last as long as I hoped.

Totally Worth It! Will buy always
It is more expensive than the regular 920 cartridge but you get so many more prints with the XL. The quality is great, it doesn't smear, dries quickly. Awesome value! I have used generic refillable cartridges and it does not even compare. Definately use the HP 920XL or other HP cartridge that your printer uses.
