A Clarification...
For all those purchasing 920XL color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow), know that the dimensions of them are exactly the same as those of the regular 920 color ink cartridges. There is simply more ink in the cartridges!
I just wanted to post this clarification because the 920XL ink cartridge for black is physically bigger than the one for the regular 920 black. XL ...

920 ink and 6500 printer
Terrible ink performance and incorrect out of ink prompts. You may get 30 prints and then the out of ink message comes on, but you will get another 200 prints so just ignore the prompt

HP always makes a great product!
I have had a HP printer for years. I have tried the refill style cartridge replacements and they just don't even compare to the original HP brand. The quality is so much better even if it does cost a little more. Staples always has them on sale and with the printer plan they have you get additional discounts.

HP 920XL Black Ink Catridge
I used this cartridge once before, and I first, I thought that I had bought the wrong cartridge. However, it does last longer, and I have had good success with the quality of printing. Another advantage is that it is easy to install.

always dependable
I only use genuine HP inks because they are always dependable & if i ever encounter a problem, which is very rare, HP stands behind their product and corrects it or compensates it ASAP. Refilled inks do not give you the same quality and there is no guaranty that the cartridge is filled to capacity & proving someone else was at fault & getting compensation is hard. It may...

HP 920XL Black Ink Cartridge
I have ordered and used many of these cartridges over the four years I have owned my OfficeJet printer, and I have never had any problems. Love this printer. However, with my last cartridge, I opened the package and pulled off the orange cap and ink came dripping out all over my desk. That had never happened before. Well, I looked in the package and found a number for H...

HP INK 920XL
I always use HP ink cartridges in my HP 6500 printer. I think factory cartridges work better and they are not that much more than refilled cartridges.
I get my cartridges at Staples because of the cost and their rewards program. I print greeting cards and other handouts for my church which I donate. So the rewards program is very important to me.

HP 920XL black ink cartridge
I've been happily using HP's 920XL Black Ink cartridge ever since I bought my HP Officejet 6500A from Staples some years ago.
Not difficult to replace and lasts quite a long time

HP Black Ink Cartridge
Purchasing The HP 920 XL Black Ink Cartridge (CD975AN), High Yield by HP is much better than buying generic! The ink cartridge lasts longer than the generic does. The color is much more vibrant and solid. With the HP Cartridge, I have not had the ink leek out and make a mess in my printer. I would highly recommend the HP 920 XL Black Ink Cartridge, it may cost a bit ini...

More for your money
I use to buy the small size ink cartridge for our HP, as for one the cost. But, found out that if I used the HP 920XL Black Ink Cartridge it gave me a lot more ink to print out more pages I wanted. So, in the long run I was really saving money. When I look back now I have to wonder how much money, and time I could of saved if I had only switched to this other cartridge....

better quality
I had been buying my ink online, but it seemed the cartridges didn't last as long. Ended up saving less than nothing!

HP 920XL Black Ink Cartridge
I am very well pleased with the HP 920XL Black Ink Cartridge. It last a long time, gives clear crisp copies and lives up to the advertising. I have never had a problem with this ink and will continue to purchase and use it for all my printing needs.

Ink Saving is real!
We have over two years buying XL ink cartridges is substantial savings ... after several months of impression.
This I could notice on our wide format printers use to print maps and design of houses. The quality is excellent!

Serious Problems
First cartridge installed was not recognized by printer. Msg was 'damaged or missing'. Second cartridge stopped printing while printer indicated it was 2/3 full. Third working OK so far. Need to check quality control on this cartridge.

Enjoy coming into store with helpful people waiting to help or direct you to what you are looking for. Upon problems they have helped this older woman with my lack of knowledge and still learning to go on more with modern tech. They have sat and helped me got me information on a great program that is with the schools around the area and really gone the extra mile to mak...

Very disappointing
My husband installed the new black cartridge on or about May 19-20 before we left for vacation. Because of medical conditions after vacation, today is the first day I used the printer. The black cartridge printed very little on the first couple pages and is now not printing at all.

Why would you buy anything less?
I do not do a huge amount of printing, but I use my HP printer at least once a day...if only for a few sheets. And like most people, the majority of what I print down uses the black ink. I used to go through the black in cartridges almost monthly. The XL cartridges seem to last at least three times as long. Perhaps it is just my imagination, but they seem to be a much b...
