A Clarification...
For all those purchasing 920XL color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow), know that the dimensions of them are exactly the same as those of the regular 920 color ink cartridges. There is simply more ink in the cartridges!

920 ink and 6500 printer
Terrible ink performance and incorrect out of ink prompts. You may get 30 prints and then the out of ink message comes on, but you will get another 200 prints so just ignore the prompt

Good Ink
We needed black and colored ink for our printer. We found it at HP and it was less expensive than the store I originally went to. We only use HP ink in our printer.

Ink cartridges
The HP 920XL cartridge I purchased is just fine, doing its job well. However, the HP 61XL cartridge I also purchased leaked all over the inside and outside of my printer. On the plus side, this is the first time I've ever had one leak, and I've been buying them for years.

I replaced all three of the ink cartridges and still my HP printer says the are incompatible.
I am now looking for a new printer and it will not be a HP printer

Good product, very expensive.
The HP ink clearly outperforms the alternative off-brands, but the costs continue to go up and up. A set of ink cartridges now costs as much as I paid for the printer.

Good product
Ink is over priced. Also to charge addition shipping on such a high margin product is unfortunate. These items could be shipped overnight free since HP should have favorable shipping rates.

Somehow I got a "dud" cartridge -- it lasted one day (about 15 sheets of paper printed) before it ran out of printing ink and died on me. I've used the cartridges many times before without experiencing anything like this so I know it's just a fluke, but it was not good.
