A Clarification...
For all those purchasing 920XL color ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow), know that the dimensions of them are exactly the same as those of the regular 920 color ink cartridges. There is simply more ink in the cartridges!

920 ink and 6500 printer
Terrible ink performance and incorrect out of ink prompts. You may get 30 prints and then the out of ink message comes on, but you will get another 200 prints so just ignore the prompt

Depending on your frequency of copy you may want to try the XL cartridge.

So far it's perfect!
I have only had my new printer for a month, but so far i love it ! It is fast ,easy and makes very nice copies! I'm very pleased so far!

Great print quality-short life span
I have almost always used HP printers. Their print and photo quality is excellent. However, as good as my 6500 printer is, the ink runs out too fast! I don't print that much really, but it seems like I'm always running to Staples to buy a replacement cartridge.

HP rip off
I don't like having to purchase the three sep colors. Supposed to be cheaper but I have purchased many more of these since owning the 6500A then I did with my old 6310 that only took a combo color cartridge. I think this is a huge rip off created by HP!

Very economical..
I always order all my printer ink refills direct from the HP store and have never had any problem with any of them. I receive them very fast and always in good shape. They have sales often and that of course is the best time to stock up. The ink is always fresh with an expiration date that is really far off. I get a lot of quality prints out of the cartridges. Yellow ink & other HP inks
I don't understand the problem the negative reviewer had. I have been using all HP ink cartridges in all of my HP printers (4). I think the cartridge must have been defective or the printer had a problem. She should have contacted HP and the printer brand and explain the problem.

Great printing, but too small capacity!
I use my printer a lot and these cartridges are too small and run out too quick. They are great for everyday work and are fantastic for photos. I love the quality, but not the short life. I would get the extended capacity next time.
