HP brand cartridges are reliable, last longer than recycled cartridges in my experience.

The toner is poor…the copies are so light as to benillegible

Quite satisfactory
Lasts longer than computer says it will. Don't replace until pages noticeably fade. Remove, rotate cartridge and replace for more pages.
