The toner is poor…the copies are so light as to benillegible

I always use HP Products
the amount of copies and fax confirmations I do depends on the life of the cartridge.

Misleading Advertising
I love my printer and the cartridge installation is a breeze. I have found that my average output per cartridge is much lower than advertised. I print mostly letters gray scale graphics event flyers and newletters and am finding that I only get 600-800 pages per cartridge. This makes it cost prohibitive for me. meets HP specifications
Prefer to use HP brand products - this one is specified for my printer. Surprised that original cartridge in printer at time of purchase was still fresh and gave full-expected page count even though not used for one year when finally box was opened and printer installed/used.

Good Product
The HP cartridges keep the HP printers from squeaking, but this cartridge seems to have a short life compared to our other HP toners we use.
