The toner is poor…the copies are so light as to benillegible

As laser printers go this gets the job done at a fairly economical cost. We have 3 in the office and would purchase again.

Good Toner - Could Last Longer
This is a good toner cartridge but it could last longer. I replaced my HP 8330 printer with the HP M1522nf and experienced an increase in printer performance. The printer is fast it's scan function is excellent and the quality of the print jobs is terrific. But HP made extended use (i.e. more toner) cartridges which I used to purchase for the 8330. Cartridge Life
I've had 6 cartridges since February '10. Of the 5 whose duty cycle I've measured the average life is 1 746 prints or 12-1/2 percent less than advertised. One of them clocked in at 1 491. I made the decision on the printer based on the Total Cost of Ownership. Could be I might have arrrived at a different result had the cartridges had longer life in my office setting.

This thing means business
Easy to swap easy to use - what more can you say about a toner cartridge? I'll tell you this much Jack - it holds the toner inside like a vault. When you swap out a cartridge it's not like the old days when you'd need a hazmat suit and a vacuum cleaner - this thing is easy to change.
