The toner is poor…the copies are so light as to benillegible

I would buy this product again
when you put a new cartridge in you expect it to be sharpe than the one you just took out and I never see that

"WORK'S OUT WELL FOR OUR OFFICE NEEDS"
USE OUR COPIER DAILY..JUST WISH CARTRIDGE LASTED A LITTLE LONGER AND WAS LESS EXPENSIVE.

Can't beat HP printers and supplies
HP products seem to outlast the competitors. Our office only buys HP printers and supplies.

Did not last 3 months with personal use
I would not have bought the printer if i had known about pitiful lifespan of the toner cartridge.

Good for small/medium print volumes
My print jobs are very large - even the smallest are more than 150 pages. I also have to run drafts of sections of the jobs prior to finalizing. Since January I have had to get new cartridges five times. The short lifespan of this product is a major drawback.

Works good but not enough
Good cartridge but doesn't last as long as the extend life cartridges that were used by the printer we replaced requiring the shift to these cartridges. But what are you going to do? This is the cartridge the HP requires you to use on this machine.

Very short cartridge life
I bought an HP M1522nf -cartridge lasted 3 months with very little personal use - my old HP-5p cartridge would last years.

Low yield
Love the hp fax/printer/scanner, dislike the hp36a refill. Doesn't last long. When it says to replace toner, you only have a short time to do so or your documents will not print clearly.

36A HP Toner
The toner'f life is horrible. The cartridge is EMPTY after about 500 pages. It is very expensive in the long run. Stay away from the printer.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT EVER
Bookkeeping & tax practice I have never been so disappointed in an HP product before I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS CARTIAGE TO ANYONE. Too expensive and the cartiage life is well under 900 copies.

I am not so sure about this one..
Easy to use but it does not last long even when it says we have 400 more pages to go we need to replace it.. :-(

Cartridge Dies Way Too Quickly
For a product with such a short life it should be much cheaper than it is.

Low Yield - beware
Was very disappointed in the low yield of copies...didn't even get the low 2K copies as promised - beware of the "up to 2K" - more like 1K copies!! - very expensive printing!

Cartridge Life is Disappointing
I like the M1522 very much -- good quality and reasonable price -- but the HP toner cartridge life is horrible. We bought the printer specifically for one project. The included toner lasted for less than 500 pages. Fine. Maybe it was a starter cartridge. Fortunately we bought 2 additional cartridges. Works like a charm-but...
The "replace cartridge" light comes on soon although toner continues to print clearly for quite a while.
