I work at a law firm and we use a lot of these side tab dividers. I put many binders together as well and it makes everything very organized. I just add a table of contents on the first page and it makes it much more organized and easy to find information.

Not good
They were not what I usually order for my board books. Used the Avery number and got something totally different. Had to use them to meet my presentation deadline.

Perfect for Court Courtesy Copies
I found the tabs were just perfect for courtesy copies. The tabs didn’t need to be for heavy duty use.

Handy dividers!
These dividers were the perfect solution to organizing a new church curriculum in binders for our Sunday School class. The paper is a great thickness--nice and sturdy without being bulky. I only wish (like so many other people) that they came hole punched. Otherwise they're perfect.

What we needed and the local store didn’t have them. Only disappointment was the dividers were not already 3 hole punched. But several of us got the binders done on time after manually punching the holes. Who would ever have a use for divers that weren’t punched for binders?

Does the job as divider tabs
Only thing I didn’t like was that it was a bit flimsy, but it did the job of separating chapter in a book I was preparing and cost half the price!

Quality not the same
I've been ordering these for decades and they have always had a Table of Contents tab. No longer, which is problematic. Also, the paper quality is lower, thinner than before. Am I right that I'm paying the same price or more??? Will find another brand with a TOC.

Numbers are easy enough to read, paper is durable. Only issue was it wasn't already three hole punched, which is most likely my fault for not looking further.

Adequate
While these numbered tab dividers accomplish what I need, it does bother me that they're not pre-punched. It would be nice if they were offered in both options - non-punched and pre-punched for binders. A small detail to be sure, but one that would save me a bit of time.

They would be a "5" if...
These are really terrific for organizing huge amounts of paper BUT THEY ARE NOT PRE-PUNCHED. Staples says that they don't carry one that's punched. So if you don't mind a little paper punching, these are great.

Great for organizing
Avery 8 1/2 x 11 Legal Exhibit Dividers arrive unpunched and fit any letter-sized folder, or Banker's Box. The dividers are of paper stock (maybe 32 pound) but definitely nowhere near anything thicker.
