It fits!
This lid was purchased to be used with a different bin. I am glad that it fits. Swing cover is easy open. I do however noticed there is a bit of a gap between the swing cover exposing garbage to bugs.

23 gallon slim jim plastic lid
Much lighter and thinner Plastic than what Rubbermaid used to Manufacture.

Rubbermain Slim Jim Wastebasket & Lid
When I received the first order I was shocked to see the big Staples label affixed directly to the wastebasket and it was dirty. However after I cleaned it I reordered and was pleased with the new order. It was in completely sealed in a plastic bag....so it was perfectly clean and label free. The lid is just that but it works well for our use in the restroom.
