78A cartridge page yield
Terriible performance. I got on 588 double-sided copies (1176pp) from one cartridge that is rated at 2100pp output. I cannot afford to use this printer & will be trying to return it.

HP has done better!
Toner leaks, causes copies to have lines. Rollers collect toner and become dirty often.

OK Cartridge, but Expensive!
This is an O.K. cartridge, i.e. it produces an exceptable document; easy to change; and doesn't smear. The price is way too expensive, however.

Our only choice
Last year the amount of toner seemed to decrease in the cartridge.

Are there other choices?
Doesn't last long...but is there any other choice? This is the cartridge required by the printer I use.

It's a toner cartridge!
Of all the toner cartridges I have ever purchased - and I have purchased many - this is unquestionably one of them.
My NEW toner cartridge is currently still sealed in its box, in that my OLD toner cartridge is still hard at work, being a old toner cartridge. When it ceases to be an old toner cartridge and transforms itself into a SPENT toner cartridge, I shall remove...

Toner yield overrated
Toner quality is good, but yield does not live up to the hype.

It's long lasting
We keep shaking the drum even when our printer notifies us the toner is low and it keeps, going and going and going . . .

poor Value
It is very easy to install but the toner does not last nearly as long as HP claims. HP toner on my previous HP 3030 Laser Jet Printer lasted much longer and as a lower cost.

Does not last as advertised.
The cartridge works well, but does not last very long. It probably prints about 1000 pages.

Accessories are where the money is made
The previous Color Laser had cartridges that lasted 2500 sheets. It took me 4 months, compared to the two months I only get out of the 78A cartridge. At least the 78A is a little cheaper. HP gave me 3 coupons to use, but I couldn't use them, because I bought an extra cartridge along with the printer. The coupons expired in February and I didn't need a cartridge until th...

cartridge used up too fast
The life of the cartridge is not as specified. I have used HP printers for many years. Sadly, the cartridge increases the cost of the machine as I have to purchase cartridges way more often than I did in the past.

use 600dpi
need to set Printer's dpi to 600 instead of 1200 to get cartridge life listed above. BUT very little dropoff in print clarity or intensity. . a bit more pricey than 12A cartridge..
