I only needed one cartridge! Will not live long enough to use two!
Already responded that it is unfair to make a customer buy two in a pack when self life and use are considered. $215 for two cartridges is really unconscionable and unfair. Address the issue…..

meets expectations
Recently I needed to replace an old printer and did so with new HP. The printer was a bargain but the toner actually cost more per page than I used to pay. Fortunately I have reduced my printing of documents 95% so the increased cost is not that much of an issue.

78A usage
wish would last longer seems as if all i get done is change cartridges. Easy to change but expensive for no more then get to print I thingk

Why no "X" cartridge available?
Six months ago my old printer started to go (5 years old), and I bought a Laserjet P1606dn. I love the printer, but I was used to buying XL toner cartridges that lasted much longer than regular ones. HP 78A Black Toner Cartridge
I find that the cartridges are very expensive (almost $100) for 1200-1500 copies. The printer itself is that much.
