Dead out of the box unfortunately.
I put the new chip in my laptop and checked the mouse. It had a battery already installed (thank you). I took out the spacer that prevented the battery from being connected until needed. I turned it on and noted there was no light activity from the bottom. None at all. The mouse had no control over the laptop's cursor. I put in a new battery. Got the same result. Obv...

Mouse for work!

Not silent
When my older model wore out from age I replaced it with the current model. It easily installed came with a battery. I immediately noticed however that the buttons are not silent and make a clicking noise on every push. Not thrilled with that.

It revived a dead computer. The tracking pad on my computer died. The computer was old bought in 2011. There were no accessories that would work but the laser mouse took over and reveals as led my work spaces down saved the day.

Meh
Works fine ... a little slow on response but the biggest problem I had was that I couldn't reserve the roller. Would not buy again

A mouse should be easy
A wireless mouse seems like a no brainer. But for some it is not. The pictures (= instructions) in the box could be better. Once figured out by going to their website to interpret the pictures it was fine. Works no less than you would expect it to. Nice that it comes with the battery.

Hooked on chordless mice!!!
This is the 3rd chordless mouse I've bought. Bought 1 to use at work. Later a mini one for portability. Then a std sz to replace the mini because my hand kept cramping after long sessions of use.
