Defective cartridge
This product left blue strips down the side of my page. No matter what I did it wouldn't go away. I finally changed out the cartridge and my printer is working fine.

Do not trust off brands
Last a long time do not trust off brands. I tried them and regretted it. They all leak.

New Toner Cartridges
I just realized that a new cartridge is not always new. I have had problems in the past with the powder leaking out of the cartridges. While installing a new magenta cartridge noticed that blue powder is all over the outside of the unit. I was believing that purchasing new meant new, not refurbished.

It's original, it fit, it does the job
I've been using this printer for nearly 8 years now and as long as I buy manufacturer toner it seems to be happy.

Not much ink
I cant believe, how fast this ran out, Arrived Mar 10 2021 and my ink was flashing out by Mar 28, same thing with my black cartridge, I will try the high yield, I usually dont by from Staples but the shipping times were fast

Not bad!
I have purchased a few of these, I don't think they last as long as they are supposed to. I got one that I had sit on my shelf for a bit and turned out bad so it was too late to return/exchange. Otherwise they seem good.

Gotta' use Genuine Brother toners with MFC-9970CDW printers
I had purchased non-Brother replacements-when printing any document that had color of any kind in it - kept getting a line of unsolicited magenta blotches down the left margins. Too few prints
Toner yield is horrible on the Brother Carrridges. Even if you disable all auto calibration on start up, still don’t get decent yields. I’m in this business, and these are a joke for the relative cost.

The cartridge is what is required in my printer so nothing to really review here. That said, when I was in the store I had to also purchase a yellow toner cartridge which I did in the same series.
