Great little speakers with lots of volume!
I had my boyfriend order me a pair about six years ago when I bought a new laptop and found that its volume was way too low even when turned to high. Terrible
Crackling and popping noises. Absolutely terrible quality, can't recommend. Stay away from logitech speakers.

AWESOME SPEAKERS

Not for Recorder/Turntables
I bought these speakers to use independently for the ION Recorder/Turntable (You know to record LP's to CD's). However as the LP's were given to me I have no idea what condition these are in and wanted to listen to each record before burning to a CD. Just the thing for an RV.
As we all know most of the LCD TVs come with terrible speakers. We have a 19-inch one in our motorhome that is worse than terrible. With some stations and most DVDs even with the TV volume set full blast we could barely hear the sound while sitting only 6-feet away . Logitech to the rescue! I bought a Z130 from Staples plugged the sound jack into the headphone recep...

Decent speaker for fairly low price
At first I was concerned with comment made by one of the previous product reviews that there was no desktop PC installation instruction and only laptops. But once I brought home the speakers and simply insert the 3.5 mm analog connection cable to the back of my desktop PC and it worked instantly. Installation was very easy. Beats Close Caption
We used these speakers to bring sound from our TV'S closer to our viewing point. We can eliminate the need for closed caption and do not have to have sound from TV so loud that it bothers neighbors. You can also hear sounds not possible in Close Captions. It is also quite well prices.
