Ink purchase
I am extremely confident in HP products, but for some reason they had failed this time as the 711 catridge was not recognized by the printer and it shown low levels of ink in the printer settings.

Works flawlessly!
I tried using the knock off printer cartridges that I got online and I learned from my mistake! Nothing like using the recommended HP product and I’m off and running again.

Very reliable ink
I owned a HPT120 and I always buy original HP Ink, it is reliable, long lasting and the price is OK considering that I use the machine a lot and I use little ink.

OEM is the way to go!
If you have a printer that takes the 711 cartridge do not buy anything except HP products. I learned the hard way when I tried generic cartridges. Yeah they printed okay but they caused the printhead to fail prematurely. I like saving money any way I can but buying generic is not the way to go.

Bad Design
I bought a Designjet T520 and it is not a well designed printer! The paper is hard to load, I get erroneous readings about what paper I have loaded. It will work fine one time and then not the next. I loved my Designjet 430 and was expecting the same quality, it's not there! The T520 is a horrible machine.

Works fine. Ink is expensive. I prefer to buy printers that use bottles instead of cartridges for ink.
It's ink. It works. Ink in a cartridge is very expensive but some printers - especially at the low end - only have ink cartridges. I definitely prefer printers where ink comes in a BOTTLE rather than in a CARTRIDGE because the cost of ink goes down dramatically when ink is replenished from a bottle.
