Stopped Working

This has had issues off and on since I first bought it. There are much better options out there - spend a little more on a more worthwhile brand and avoid disappointment.

Beautiful picture

Bought as replacement for aging unit. Simple install and setup. All focus and unit adjustment internal, no ladder anymore. 13.5 feet side to side picture, better than real theatre any day.

Great projector

I don't know that there is more I can say than has been written. This is a well reviewed projector. I've had mine about a month, it has 50 hours on the bulb. It looks great! One of the main reasons I got it was for the lens memory and automated shift and focus. I set it up with a constant image height screen. In 16:9 mode, it's 110 inches, and in 2.4:1 it's 140 in...

great for playing games and watching movies

I've been enjoying this projector in the basement for two years now, for both playing games and watching movies in 4k. I'm a tiny bit disappointed for the lack of split screen for those impromptu LAN parties.

BEWARE if you have need horizontal keystone correction

I purchased the 5050UB as a replacement to my now defective 3020e. The anticipation of what I believed to be a significant upgrade was meet with somewhat mixed experience.

My 3020 was installed ~6yrs ago and worked great in my media room that required it to be installed on the ceiling in the corner of the room to avoid a ceiling fan. Picture was very good.

Wonderful picture. So glad I upgraded

I've had an Epson PowerLite Pro Cinema 1080p projector for about 10 years, and it was a nice unit. This new one, however, is really a step up! Over twice as bright, plus it has motorized lens functions where the earlier one didn't. The only downside, in my view, is the much larger size, but thankfully I was able to deal with it without a lot of effort.

Great Picture

I’ve had this projector for about a month now as a replacement and it has been one of the best purchases this year. It is well worth the money for the picture quality. My wife has constantly stated how beautiful the picture quality is with this projector

Home Theatre Done Right!

I recently upgraded from the 4010 and the expense was well worth it. Outstanding picture quality, colors burst off the screen, definition and lighting are superb. I don't see how Epson could top this product.

Fast setup replacing my broken 5030UB!

We have only had this projector for a few weeks now, but so far it lives up to what we expect for Epson projectors. The new optics do make the image brighter at all color modes, and it has excellent color and sharpness. Amazing picture quality!

Incredible picture quality and brightness, even with ambient lighting. Easy to set up and use. Some cosmetic tweaks: Would’ve been nice to have a white power cord (instead of black) to match the projector and blend in to the ceiling better or even better, a cover to actually hide the cord (like our previous 11-year-old Epson projector).

Almost perfect...

Awesome projector but with only the slightest issues I have are:

1) Why is this projector white in color...should be black.
2) Lens shift memory save function a pain to set never stays where I set it to.
3) Blue lights for the power and status light to bright for light controlled theaters.
