Easiest Setup Ever and Great Performance
I have an IT background and have set up over a dozen routers and was by far the fastest and easiest I've seen. I had first bought a Netgear Orbi mesh router/satellite and the setup was slow and error-prone, dying several times in the middle of the process. Asus gives you a product that just works and doesn't require any real expertise to setup and use.

The worst!
I returned the product. Abominable support service; the conversation was nearly unintelligible. It should have been a simple installation.

Great solution for the price
Setup was quick and easy. Wireless backhaul is great and using the 2.5 connection on one of the satellites to my PC I am getting close to wired speeds (over the backhaul and to the internet) on my 1gb fiber connection.
Improvements could be made to the documentation for more advanced setup needs, availability of a wall mount rather than needing to buy a 3rd party one,...

Started strong but drops often
These mesh routers worked great for the first 6 months, but then the mesh points stopped connecting all together. WiFi would drop regularly and the only way to get it back was to open the app. Doesn't help that ASUS just had a massive hack.

Generally good System worth your consideration
A generally good system which benefits greatly by having the mesh system integrated into it. This avoids having to shift from one router to another as one moves about the house or the building. It is not easy to make adjustments to the system, such as turning off either the 5G or the 2.4 G aspect. It can be done, but it is not intuitive.

Called support and was advised SN would not be the one on the bottom of the device but would be a common serial number that would be located on the box due to this being a mesh system. I am thrilled with the 2 pack system I purchased. I had a competitor's product that should be used like its name, as TP. Nonetheless, the Asus product is always reliable, always available, no jitter or breakup signals, and has more configuration options than ever expected. I am thrilled with this product.

Pricey, but worth it
This unit is a little pricey, but it is worth every penny. Get the app and do all the original setup, then move on to the web UI to get into the advanced configuration which is truly remarkable in terms of included, free features. Very impressive. Great job ASUS.

Great router and strong signals.
I have this router and 2 nodes for 3 years now and still running as strong as I was setup initially. I love ASUS router that built-in with anti-virus software without paying extra compare other products.

Easy setup with good coverage.
The single router provided by cable service did not cover iur 2400 sq ft house well. Two ASUS units gave complete coverage extending to the deck. The units were easy to set up. The app is helpful in monitoring traffic.
