Great Type C for the Corporate User
This dock just worked. I did have to use my power brick (I plugged in a type C charging brick and it is powering my XPS 15 but that was clearly spelled out in the specifications.
Great for my work from home setup and I didn't have to talk to the office IT group to get it setup. Plenty of USB's and it has a handy card reader as well.

Buy something else
It's caused memory issues and for my computer to hang if it goes to sleep while plugged in. I also have issues with intermittent loss of connection with the keyboard and mouse, which is incredibly annoying. I also don't use the pass through power because it seems to work better when I don't. I do not recommend.

Not really what we were looking for.
Works great as basically a fancy hub. Did not serve our business needs in reality as a docking station. The dock is limited in ability to push out 3 displays. While 2 displays worked great, hooking a third monitor forces it to have very low resolution due to a limitation in the device. Awesome portable dock!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the one I'm looking for .... finally, I purchased a month ago and based on my usage it is excellent. This product completely satisfied my requirement. Thanks to Dell for keeping nice accessories for productivity.

Very easy to set up
had all the ports I needed, and was able to use my power supply to power the dick, and that passes through to my laptop.

Returned - Did Not Work
This piece of equipment did not work. It would not transfer power via USB-C to the tablet. I therefore returned it and got a WD-15 docking station instead.
