Many features and nuances I hadn’t expected
This truly is a “smart” thermostat with considerably more tricks in its bag than I realized. Yes, there’s a bit of a learning curve, but taking advantage of all of the features leaves one quite impressed!

Save your money
Consistently wrong temperature on my device, verified by 3 separate third party thermometers. Seems to be an incredibly common issue per Reddit. Contacted support and followed their instructions and issue still wasn’t resolved. Great features
I have two in my home on two systems . They should synch, and be supportive or collaborating. Otherwise a great product.

Great thermostat
Had this for about two weeks and it works well was easy to set up and mount. Surprise it works with a Generac generator.

Easy to use...love the wifi capability
Our HVAC provider installed this...while my hubby refused to use wifi...I love it. Easy to schedule and easy to use overall

Great Upgrade
The thermostat was installed almost three weeks ago, it is alot better than the one I had. The touch screen is easy to use, connects to the app instantly and responds immediately. I haven't had the opportunity to use all the features but it offers option for setting up a schedule and monitors usage. It also notified me when I needed to change the filter.

Manage home heat and cooling from anywhere
Ecobee is designed for heat pumps, squeezing all the heat /cooling it can from a heat pump by managing demand to give 2 hours for pump to provide the temperature demanded at the time demanded. Once we were cruising the Pacific while kids & grandkids were in our home and the heat pump failed. I used Ecobee to switch to Auxiliary heat from the Pacific Ocean. Very easy to ...

A Step Up
Recently had a new boiler installed and could not use my old thermostat without any wiring modifications. Since I was upgrading the wiring I chose upgrade the thermostat and chose ecobee because of its integration with Apple home kit. The app and the thermostat are easy to use and being able to use Siri to check and change the temperature is an added benefit.

The best smart thermostat that I have ever owned.
I have the ecobee doorbell camera with the thermostat and it so amazing how the picture of the front porch is on the thermostat face when someone rings the door bell.

Home thermostat
Heating feature which controls thermostat cuts off when I’m gone for a couple of hours. Only want it to lower heat when I’m gone for DAYS, not hours!

Simple to use and understand!
Now into our second month, our programable ecobee has been functioning perfectly; even during this week's nationwide winter storm. Particularly like the remote capability, through our "Alexa" units. Great convenience overall.

High tech yet easy to use
It controls my forced air heater, works well.

Easy To Use
I like the availability of using the app. The thermostat and app are very easy to learn and use. Haven’t gone through any adjustments yet but that will probably happen next week.

Massive quality of life upgrade
From the reviews I’d read, Ecobee seemed to be the gold standard for smart thermostats, and in my experience so far, I concur.
