i would definitely recommend this product.
i use this to mirror my iMac to my tv. i'm really happy that it also sends audio. the only drawback is that it exposes how much definition is lost to my hdtv. if i set the resolution to "maximize samsung" the quality is real good, but then i lose some definition on my iMac's 5k retina display. this problem is not because of the tripp-lite adapter, but rather because my ...

Doesn't work with new 16" macbook pros
Got this to have a 2nd monitor for my new 16" macbook pro laptop and it doesn't recognize the monitor. It did work when i plugged into my android phone though... support says it's supposed to work with macs but I'm not having any luck with it.

Reliable adapter
Using these in an enterprise environment for a very large company. Have no complaints for this product, it does everything it needs to and is extremely reliable. Would definitely recommend it!

Exactly what I needed
This product solved a reoccurring problem I had of never having the proper items to connect my laptop to a tv/projector. It's small enough to travel with and keep in my bag since I never know when it'll be needed. Works great and has reinforced plastic around the areas that often bend to prevent wires from being exposed. 5 stars!

I would buy again
I use this particular cord to connect my work laptop to a/v screens/projectors at work.
Very functional, sturdy, easy to use and connect!

Product works as described!
I use the adapter to connect my MacBook to my tv. The product is very simple to use. There is no delay between the laptop/tv. Awesome product.

Great product—works well!
I bought this because I needed to connect a monitor with my new MacBook computer and the connection is great and was easy to use! No problems with the display and would purchase again!

Works like a charm with a small feasture missing
Works right away at the first time. I am using it on a HP Elite X2 that uses the only USB-C for both charging and HDMI conversion so I suggest adding a "pas-through charging" feature to this adaptor so that my tablet can be charged while outputing HDMI. Otherwise the adaptor is prefect.

So Far, So Good
This definitely is a good product. It's a bit bulky and I find packing it in small place may wear on the cord. Otherwise, it's pretty good.

Very nice hardware!
This perfect dongle helps me be productive by correcting Apple's misguided laptop design decision. Handles 4K HDMI with no problem at all.
