Unfortunately, the difference in wireless charging performance while using the same platform is likely more to do with the internal configuration of the two devices. The Defender Series case hasn't really changed in terms of materials, but the iPhone 13 Pro was designed to highlight Apple's MagSafe accessory ecosystem, so the charging coils will be aligned differently than those of your iPhone Xs. Not sure what charger you're currently going with, but our OtterSpot works just fine with this particular case/device combo. We appreciate the candid feedback and are sorry to hear you're not quite as fond of your most recent Defender Series Case for the iPhone 13 Pro as the one you had for your iPhone 6. It's unlikely that we'll return to an integrated screen protector, as we do feel the use of a glass piece with the case provides the best balance between performance and protection; however, we'll definitely share your thoughts with our quality and design teams in hopes that you'll see that orange inner shell you prefer at some point down the road.
