Poor design
I've used the Otterbox Defender cases for all my iPhones since the 4. The new Defender case for the iPhone 13 Pro is poorly designed. You can't put a third-party screen protector on the phone (it bubbles up and will not stay on. I was informed that I'd have to purchase an Otterbox brand screen protector, which is an additional $40+.

good purchase
great fit, was worried that this would be too bulky but was not, I'm happy with purchase. assembly instructions are weak - like (3) separate pieces that fit together, after that function & feel are good.

Very PLEASED
I purchased this case a few weeks ago and I’m very happy I did. I’ve dropped my phone a couple of times, my toddler has dropped it and thrown it and still no damage. So the case is doing its job

Not as good as the old Defender cases
I have bought countless Defender cases in the past and the "ruggedness" is not there anymore. The side profile ribs of this case are now so thin, they barely protect the screen from an impact. Same for the rear camera lens, the case is not deep enough. The belt clip does not have this "positive" snap clip action it used to have. The clip case flexes when you clip you...

I love how it’s slimmer and lighter compared to precious Defender series (for iPhone 6s and iPhone XR. I miss the “edge” of the case being more “deep” from old design. On the old design, the screen feels more safe.

Usually a great product
The Holster is garbage. If you place the phone in with the screen facing out, it it more secure. If you place the phone in the holster with the screen facing in, there is a gap and the phone falls out rather easily. “Customer support said they are “working on a fix”, but how do you release a case that is obviously lacking?

Very disappointed
I have always purchased the Defenders Series over the years because of your great quality. That quality is no longer there. I could tell the belt clip was flimsy the minute I took it out of the package. In the last month my phone has fallen out of the clip twice when it got bumped. Great product!!
I had an Otterbox Defender Series case on my old IPhone XR and it performed just as I knew it would. Never had an issue at all. Actually bought it because a coworker had one on his phone, dropped it from the top of a cooling tower ( about 50ft), hit the ground and no damage whatsoever.

Get the XT model for MagSafe charging
As always, OtterBox makes a sturdy case. However, I have buyer’s remorse because I didn’t think that there would be a model that didn’t allow mag safe charging, and one that does.
This one doesn’t. If that’s important to you, get the XT model.

Otter box quality
I’ve always used otter box for the great protection. Have had it on every phone. But this case gives a lot of problems for wireless charging. I take it off and it charges with no problems. Wouldn’t buy again
I bought this case 2 weeks ago. The couriers are already showing wear marks that make the case look worn and dirty.
The outer shell loosens easily when putting the phone in my back pocket ( the rubber pulls away from the plastic.

However: The raised “rim” of the top part of the shell has been lowered to match screen height in the center, and slightly raised at the ends. Jury is Out
Hmm, not as sure about this Defender case as the one I had for my iPhone X. I feel like the raised edges around the screen and around the camera aren't as deep as on the X case. Time will tell if I break the phone...I'm a dropper. The benefit is that the case feels less bulky but that may cost me.
