Awesome product,
I have been using this for 2 months now. I am so impressed with the performance, quality and durability of the product. Its the best adapter I could find after all my intense research. The output I get is similar to that of an HDMI to HDMI cable.

Unidirectional adapter
This device can be turned around to connect a monitor with Display Port input to a computer with HDMI output. Then it won't work. Even though it is a passive device, and the connectors work both ways, it won't adapt an HDMI output to a Display Port input. Now this is in the specifications on this web page. Works as advertised
Works well enough that I'm not even sure which monitor is using it and which is in the hdmi port.

Awesome product,
