Good product. Easy install fixing the transition issue. Good picture and sound transfer.

Didn't work with a Mac Mini
Tried with two different monitors and three different VGA cables, to confirm that it wasn't the VGA end.
Simply didn't work with our Mac Mini.
I had an HDMI-to-DVI adapter which worked (thus confirming for me that the HDMI worked on the Mac Mini), but this HDMI-to-VGA adapter did not work at all.

returned item
I returned the product due to its incompatibility with my PC. What I should have ordered was a DVI slot adapter to the HDMI. No fault of Staples at all.
