Adaptor Doesn't Fit
I purchased this adaptor to add a second monitor to my new Dell Inspiron 3847. The Dell Inspiron 3847 comes with a VGA Port and an HDMI port. The HDMI end of the adaptor does not fit into the Dell Inspiron 3847.

Questionable use with VGA monitor.
Didn't work adapting the VGA cable from my previous Dell monitor to the DP port on my new VT 4510 docking station. If not very careful unplugging from the DP port of the docking station, it easily breaks the rather weak internal solder connections.
