I have tested using this cable with a couple different computers and VGA HD monitors. The cable comes in a zip lock bag similar to other cables (i.e. Ethernet cables). 6FT Displayport to VGA Adapter
Simple, just plug it in and it works. Great resolution, high quality cable and I love how I don't need to purchase both a Displayport to VGA adapter and also a 6ft VGA-VGA cable anymore. This saves money and simplifies the connection
