Awesome!!!!
Finally, i can use 3 monitors, laptop integrated monitor + 2 external monitor, easy to install, just install driver, restart, plug the adapter to the computar and monitor, just awesome!!!!

Awesome!!!!

Kudos for Customer Support/Live Chat
I had an issue with after updating my OS with this product as it wasn't recognizing my second monitor. Quickly got on with LiveChat and they were able to assist me in all of 2 steps. Works great, customer supports even better.

Very good quality device.
I bought this to add a third screen to my office computer. It works great, I just plugged it in and it worked immediately, without me having to install drivers. I think this is one of the best products in the market for converting HDMI to USB 3.

Works like it should!
I bought a cheaper brand and had all sorts of problems. The display blinked and generally misbehaved. I had used StarTech before so I ordered one of these. It arrived right away. I plugged it in and it started working. The display appears and refreshes exactly as it should. Don't be fooled by cheap imitations! This is the real thing!

Works on my MacBook Pro 2015 retina
Initially had a issue with connection on my MacBook. The same day the item arrived I contacted the support desk and they resolved it in minutes and my system is running on macOS Catalina 10.15.3.

Adding s 3rd monitor with usb to hdmi works great!
I bought a star tech hdmi to usb 2 adapter to add a 3rd monitor to my iMac. Works great!

It was better that I expected
I have a Macbook pro mid 2012 and I have two screens connected one with Thunderbolt and the other one using this adapter. The quality is amazing. You just need to make sure to use the driver online and not the outdated in the cd

Monitor adapter - good deal for the money
My wife bought me an Alienware PC and I like it. However, it came with only one display port on the video card and I wanted to run two monitors. This adapter was a great investment as I have my two monitors while not having to purchase another video card.

Not Quite Compatible with Mac OSX 10.12 Sierra
Issues with the new Mac OSX 10.12 Sierra. Startech does seem to have a beta driver released currently but it only partially fixes the video issues. While moving windows across screens the window will turn black (or white) in most cases with some video screen tearing within the window which also seems to crash Safari.
