Even after cleaning the surface with alcohol and letting it dry, these hooks did not adhere to the metal I was sticking it to.

Would not stick to painted bead-board wall. We wanted to hang wooden spoons without putting holes in wall. I guess we will have to get screw in hooks after all.

I use these to hang my calendar, necklaces, srunches in the shower, jackets by the door, etc. I was surprised by the weight these hooks can hold and how easy they come off when you move them! This product is great! I highly recommend trying this product.
