    I was looking for a stamp that could be used to show when an item had been entered into the accounting system. This stamp is just the right size and it really stands out on the paper. The employee just stamps the document, or documents, in the upper right hand corner, dates the document with his/her initials. A quick glance at the upper right hand corner lets you know when the item was entered and who entered it.

                I use this stamp to keep track of paperwork I enter in to an online database. Once I'm finished with the record I stamp it. I have a legal requirement to hold the paper copy, but now I know it's in my database for quick reference.

                    All of our previous self inking stamps of this size had a plastic cap on the bottom that was easy to misplace and sometimes it would stick making it difficult to remove. Shutter stamps are one-handed operation every time, no cap to hunt for when you are finished and no ink on your fingers from removing the cap.
