These labels are cut on the bias, so even if you only use half at a time, like for shipping labels, it is still really easy to remove the backing. Other labels, cut down the center are virtually impossible to peel later if cut...

I am a big fan of Avery labels. They are high quality and always perform at top level. Generic labels may save you a dollar or two, but when the backing is impossible to remove, the ink bleeds, and the adhesive is weak, is it really worth the dollar you saved? If you haven't tried these labels, I encourage you to go for it. You will not be disappointed and the possibilities are endless!

Our churches womens group needed 600 prayers to stick in our new music books. They complained that last year the cheaper store brand labels were murder to peal which damaged too many prayers. They thanked me for buying the good stuff. They said they peeled apart with ease, and praised me for spending a little extra for the higher quality labels.
