For that professional look

I've never been disappointed with an Avery product. Staples stocks all kinds of labels, but these are the best. Finding them in the store was not easy since the label products were not grouped together. Even the sales assistants couldn't locate what I needed. So if you want a particular label, be prepared to do some walking around the store.

These labels are very good, but at only 20 per pack, don't represent a great value. Each sheet includes two DVD labels plus the long & thin 'spine' labels that I didn't even bother to use (and I'll bet many other folks toss these away as well). I was only interested in the DVD labels themselves. On the positive side, they apply easily and the Adobe Illustrator template allowed me to align the image to the label with very good accuracy, meaning no wasted labels. At only 20 labels per pack, that was a good thing.

The material is high quality and the ink jet printing looks good. Avery told me the paper will withstand the higher operating temperature of a DVD player, which the paper for regular CD label will not. I have only recently started labeling DVD disks so it is good to avoid that problem, which I take their word that it exists.

The labels are expensive and difficult to apply to the DVD disk. The center hole is too small for the standard alignment device so one has to be able to do manual alignment, which works good to smooth the adhesion but is more difficult to properly locate.

Found the part easy to print on with Avery templates but tough to apply if you don't have a steady hand. Make sure you use a CD stomper to apply so you don't get creases or miss-align on CD/DVD.
They aren't easy to remove if you make a mistake and if you add a second one on top of it the CD/DVD will skip. Makes the CD/DVD look very professional.

These labels are used for DVD slide shows and videos for my Photography studio. I like that they are film labels rather than paper. This ensures that there will be no harmfull effects to the DVD and there will be no problems playing on a DVD player.

These labels look great. I have never had a customer complaint of labels peeling or causing a problem.

I wish there was a quicker way to attach labels & remove air bubbles, and I really wish they were a little less expensive. As far as supplies costs, the labels cost me more than the discs and jewel cases combined.
