I went to Staples looking for a note and memo book and found the Red and Black Notebook. It is perfect for notes, memos, phone message, reminders, passwords, etc.

I bring along this brand of notebook to workshops, classes or travel to write first drafts, since hand-writing works for me. I can use pens that would bleed through lesser paper. The first page has blanks for information including a guide to the book's contents plus a pocket page on the reverse with useful data and a world map. It looks good; the red coil is a tasteful accent against the back cover. An elastic gusset attached to the back cover can be used to mark a place or hold contents. It is a well-designed, useful, quality notebook that can fold back on itself, unlike bound books, and lies flat when open. A useful product, well-executed.

I use this tablet for a laboratory log in the clinic I work in. We used cheap ones before and the pages curl up and were icky. I found this at Staples and have used it ever since. Thanks

The quality of this notebook is great--sturdy, easy to turn pages, and the best feature is the heavy duty, high quality paper that is easy to write on and doesn't bleed through to the other page. It is pricey, though. I continue to buy this product because of its quality and cringe each time I see the price. However, I never worry about pages ripping or my notes fading/bleeding through.
