Upon reading a few of the wimp comments, in terms of electricity problems, I was almost ready to cancel my order. However, I did receive it and am very happy with the product. As far as electric problems, I have the Brother printer, two computers, and another printer on the same circuit and have no problems.

The cost for the component is out of line for what a replacement machine would cost.

For example, the cost for the 5250DN printer dips below the cost of this cartridge periodically. It would be a better alternative to wait for discounts/rebates to kick in and pick up a new printer instead of spend more for a component.

We've only had to order this drum once in the last 2 years. So the drum lasts quite a while. I like how we get the items the next day! Very good when your printer stops working!

I must admit this machine is a workhorse. I do use it quite often but would'nt consider myself as a heavy user. This is the second drum I needed in the past 2 1/2 years.The price has nearly doubled!Also, since the 1st drum change the machine did not reset. It always says to "replace the drum soon". This is quite frustrating since I only know to replace it after the machine dies completely.
