This product met expectations

The ink cartridge lives up to - and exceeds - longevity expectations. While I occasionally use the printer for personal items, I have begun a small gardening and plant business to supplement my retirement income (or lack thereof) and need a reliable source for printing out instructions for planting and plant maintenance. This fills the bill. My equipment also faxes and scans; fax confirmations are printed out automatically as well and all prints are clear.

I found a way to make the print carts last 10 times longer. If you pull out the cart. and look at the end there is a window that the software can tell how much ink is left in it. Take a small piece of electrical tape (works best) and cover the window. Replace cart back in printer and tell the printer that it is a new cart. "Follow the setup procedure!" I did this and I have already printed about 10 times more docs after the printer said I was out of ink than before when it was full.
And I am STILL printing with the empty cart's, some time I am going to run out but I have gotten about 4 times the life from the stock cartridge's (so far) with this little trick.
Once you do this it is actually a nice printer for the price!
