I really like this labeller. It looks cute, the tape is laminated, not the lame paper kind. It also has plenty of options for all of your labelling desires. The only con that I can think of is it takes a few too many button pushes to get the thing to print. It is the same way I feel about the debit/credit card swipers at the grocery store. Do you want it all on the card? cash back? is the amount ok? do you want to give us more money for a charity you have never heard of? No. I just want to buy my milk and eggs and get out of here! Grocery stores are awful! Ok, so maybe this label maker doesn't ask THAT many questions. So, if you like the grocery store you will like this product, and if you don't like the grocery store but like labels, you will still probably like this product.

Nice but a Little Wasteful

It's a powerful little labelmaker that has plenty of uses. The labels come out with clear, concise print and there are hundred of different combinations (maybe more) as far as the label-making goes. There are cute graphics, different fonts and frames, and several options for size and width. The only drawback to this product is that it wastes a lot of label space. There is about an inch or so of wasted, unusable label space with each label that comes out. No matter how you adjust the length and margins of the labels there is still this extra space that prints out with each label. It's annoying considering how pricey the label cartridges can get. For the price of the labelmaker itself however, I'm not too terribly put out. I just try to make each label I print out count, and avoid just printing labels for the sake of labeling things.

Easy to start using but we couldn't figure out how to save a label or use the templates. The instructions did not show proper step by step keystrokes for different functions, we just had to scroll through and figure things out on our own.

Purchased this at a great deal. Prints and functions great. However, it goes through batteries very quickly, we're either going to have to invest in the adapter or it might be more economical to purchase an entirely different unit altogether.

We bought this label maker to use in tight situations at work. We LOVE IT! It is fast and you can change the font. VERY easy to use. I would highly recommend this to anyone. The package did not include a power cord so we are using batteries only, but if its not a machine you use on a regular basis, it should last quite awhile. So far we have printed about 20-25 labels and still have a full charge. For the price it is a great deal. The tape is also universally easy to find. there are a variety of colors to choose from depending on your use. I am very happy with this purchase and would not hesitate to get another one if anything happens to this one!

  The Brother P-touch PT-D200 label maker uses TZe series tapes (with a maximum width of 12mm) which are laminated and easy peel, for indoor or outdoor use. It can't be used with iron-on tape.
