I love my Brother printer/copier/fax

I love the Brother MFC and the ink cartridges make such beautiful color prints. It is so easy to change cartridges. NO MESS!!!

Short life.

Used for self-publishing. Great 2 sided, sharp, professional copies. However, the copier quits long before the 4000 copy limit is reached making this very expensive. Try removing the cartridge, turn over, etc to redistribute the toner, re-install and you will be able to print some additional copies. These comments apply to all the color and black cartridges supplied for this model printer. Brother needs to work on this.

It is so irritating that all the color cartridges shut down at the same time with no control from user. This is more of a complaint with the Brother 4040CN then the cartridges themselves.
