While we love the printer, the number of prints rating is not anywhere close to actual with these toners. We use the toner on a medium use setting, not high color quality and we go through them like crazy. It would be more affordable to just buy a new printer every month than 4 new toner cartridges. Way too expensive.

I love the Brother printer, however, the toner life is not close to 1400 copies as the manufacturer rates it. My printer option is set to TONER SAVE MODE and the quality at NORMAL not fine. Still, I have never gotten close to 1400 copies. With these settings, I average about 700 - 950 copies before the toner needs changed.
