Canon BCI inks

Overall, I like this ink (and the printer it goes with) very much. The cartridges are relatively inexpensive and very easy and clean to replace. One of the major advantages is that the different colors come in separate cartridges, so if I run out of yellow, for instance, I can replace only that color. I like how that saves money and avoids wasting ink.

I was very disappointed in this product. I use lots of ink due to a Fraternal Organization I volunteer for and the printing of my "memoirs." I decided to try this product to help reduce the cost of my ink and it did not work. I called the help line and they suggested I try a different cartridge. That one did not work as well either. I am sorry to tell you that it is not a good substitute for my Canon printer.

Much of usage is for printing-out e-mail for family members to read. Also pictures of a newgreat-grandson from Seattle. Colors are bright and true. With an earlier printer a few years ago, I had tried those do-it-yourself refill kits.. messy, and would clog printheads, etc. Nothing like the original product for me. [...]
