The display said that the level was low, even though I had printed only one color document. Do not believe the low ink level warning, but know that the way some canon printers work, each time the printer is turned on, it uses up a bit of ink, thus greatly shortening the life of the cartridge.

Streaky even after head cleaning

The cartridge didn't work at all at first. After doing a like an heavy head cleaning it at least prints, but it has streaky gaps in the printout. The existing color cartridges still print fine. Just spend the extra $2-$3 and get the canon brand.
