The color of this cartridge varies from a dark brown to pumpkin orange. I don't know what I'm going to get until I open the package. When the cartridge ink shows up as brown ...Read complete review

The color of this cartridge varies from a dark brown to pumpkin orange. I don't know what I'm going to get until I open the package. When the cartridge ink shows up as brown it never prints any of the colors right. When the ink is pumpkin orange the colors print better but the yellow (if that's what Canon wants to call it) is exaggerated. I'm going to start returning cartridges to Staples when I get a bad one. I'm wasting way too much money on these cartridges.

My HP color printer (which I got for free with my PC) prints more consistently than my Canon.

The Canon Cartridges are fine. However, the Price per cartridge is Way Too Expensive! (And they are not produced so an individual can refill them.)

I do my own greeting cards and use a lot of clip art. The Canon Inks are great for this project, and the yellow gives me the sunshine that I want in those gay and bright daytime scenes.
