Ink Life is Great, but not amount

Love the printer, just found a second area to control ink usage which explains why the ink has been used up so very fast. Now it will last longer.

Love the printer, just found a second area to control ink usage which explains why the ink has been used up so very fast. Now it will last longer.
Cost is higher than Lexmark now that more people are buying it. I am going back to Lexmark because I can get more ink out of a cartridge at a lower price. The Canon printer should have all the settings in one area, not 3 different areas.

    I am an avid textile designer and seamster, and I often find myself copying patterns and graphs in color to facilitate my work, especially if I am creating the design myself. I've had other printers that used different inks but none that had the results of this Canon product. The tones are sharp and vibrant, and I get extended prints (about a third beyond the suggested yield) from each cartridge with very minor loss to the quality. And now that I have my bonus reward card for ink and toner purchases, the value of the item has skyrocketed and competes with many of the discount retailers in price. The added value is the opportunity to recycle the empty cartridge with Staples, earn points, and make a difference in environmental impact.

            It is very difficult to say an exact number of business cards that you will be able to print. The color cartridge is rated to print 349 pages at 5% coverage (8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper) depending on how much color is on the card or if there is much more of a color it can vary the number of pages that you will be able to print out of the cartridge.
