I thought it would be a great change from our other brand printer and the high cost of its cartridges. Although I like my printer and this ink, I have found out the hard way that it is actually costing me more, as I go through more cartridges faster. I would recommend, but advise heavy users to think about the cartridge size first.

I love my Canon PIZMA MP640 printer. Although it does use more cartridge ink than my previous HP's, the color is outstanding. I can do lots of spreadsheets, varying the colors of print pertaining to my needs, and it prints out perfectly. There are never any smears of color. When I print pictures, the quality is outstanding; much better than the camera shop pros. I do wish that Canon would put these cartridges on sale at Staples. They are always offering deals on HP cartridges. I questioned them about Canon but they said it is up to Canon to do the sales. So there is a challenge for Canon to fulfill!
