I print pictures constantly at home using this cartridge. The pictures I print are a better quality than some I have recenlty ordered online. The pictures that I ordered online I gave away as gifts to grandparents as I preferred my home prints. The quality and color is much better with this cartridge. I would have given it 5 stars if the cartridge would last longer before having to replace.

I use this just for photo printing. I get about 60 good prints per cartridge. Combined with the cost of the paper, I spend more to print at home than at a photo-developing place. It is, however, very convenient to be able to do this at home.

        staples has the best price on this ink. I use a lot of this ink and staples always has some on hand. they could keep more on hand at tax time so I could by more at a visit to the store. 400 characters is too many

                  Yes this functions as a cartridge but is labeled an ink tank. Certain Canon Pixma printers require this item #660707 Canon CLI-36 color ink tank along with the item #730039 Canon PGI-35 black ink cartridge.
