I only use Canon inks with my Canon Pro 9000 printer, and only for photo printing.

Canon inks are superior to non Canon brand replacements, but still have too short of a life span for resisting fading. Especially if the photos are displayed in sunlit areas.

The red inks are definitely not vivid and bright enough. Most of the other colors reproduce accurately, especially when using Canon brand photo paper.

i ordered on line. Used their compatability option. It listed ink choices. I was going for a box with more ink to buy, and save some cost in the long run. I have a Canon IP4200. This was listed as compatabile, but when arrived, and I did not notice in the description, all the colors, that are not used in my printer. Thought it would have an interchange paper in the box.
Went to return to store, and was going to loose the credits I applied for ink returns. Person at store gave me credit on other itmes.

Missing part, sloppy packagng

One cartridge was useless, with plastic clip attachment missing. The rest were fying arund in the box. Very bad quality control.

I am a photographer and use lots of ink as I prefer to print my own photos. I just switched to Canon from HO and have found the color much brighter and edges of the photos sharper. I have 4 HP photo printers and one canon large format. I find myself using the canon more and more for photo work and the others for usual printing.

When I did a search for ink toner for my MP530, this item was listed as replacements for the printer. Not true. Only four of the eight cartridges are useable. This item is for the Pro9000. You have to check these web listings carefully!
