I haven't used a big size calculator before. But the button layout in this calculator is not like that of a normal size one. While minus and plus is placed conveniently on right side, other basic functions and equal to button is on left. Subtraction works differently. For example, 120 - 20 = will give you the display like (1st) 120 (2nd) -120 (3rd) 20 (4th) 20 and you would expect the display to show 100. Press the plus sign and now it shows -100. For me this is way too confusing.
Also in a conventional calculator you would expect buttons like M+ M- MC and MR for Memory functions. In this, the MR function is in M (diamond shaped sign) button. M* button recalls the value in Memory and works like MC.
There are some nice features like Time and Date and auto display off. I got it with a bundle of regular calculator and also with a good discount. So price wise it is a good one but it takes a while to switch over to this one, if you are used to a normal calculator.

I've been getting by with a pocket calculator since my last printing calculator died. It's a relief to have the printing feature back. Size and weight on this are good. It doesn't scoot across the table or shift around when keying entries. I use this to balance my checkbook and handle household calculations. It seems to have all the features a business setting would need, but it literally seems a little light weight to last long in the office. I could be wrong. This calculator came with AC connection, but can also be used with batteries. I won't have power outages as an excuse for not getting the bills paid.
