A little pricey but most of the cartridges are expensive. I must say that I like the fact that I'm given a notice when the cartridge is low, but I can continue to use it a lot longer than other cartridges I've used in the past. The ink dries faster than other cartridges too. This is a great feature for me.

I switched from the Cannon 350 series and at first was very pleased with the sharpness, but I thought there must be something wrong when I started getting the low ink warning. It had not been long enough. The refill I bought ran out in just a couple of weeks. When I bought the replacement, I compared with the ink for the old printer and found out why. It has only about 2/3 of the ink of the former cartridge. I feel cheated!

I will research the next printer I get. There is no reason this printer should not have the same amount of ink as others. I am stuck with the problem until I need to buy a new one.

I have to replace this toner every month. I only get 2-300 sheets per cartridge which is expensive. It is clear and precise in the prints I get. It is easy to install, no mess no fuss. I love the packaging and purchasing it at Staples makes it convenient to pick up as the store is on my way to the Church where I put in voluntary and paid time. Most of the documents I print are for the Church. I have had to send them documents recently by email so that they can print most of them for me in order to save on the black toner.
