A:
Assuming you print primarily letter-sized documents with a mix of text and graphics, Canon estimates an average yield of 180 pages for the PG-240 cartridge, 300 for the PG-240XL, and 600 for the PG-240XXL. On the same documents, they estimate the CL-241 to last for 180 pages, and the CL-241XL for 400. When printing 4"x6" color photos, they estimate the PG-240 to last for 1,420 prints, the PG-240XL for 2,170, the PG-240XXL for 4,340, the CL-241 for 67, and the CL-214XL for 135. Of course, all of those numbers will vary depending on the actual content of whatever you're printing.
