As a state employee, I purchased my own Canon All-in-One to use after being told I would just have to use the networked copier/printer. I love my Canon; however, the DOWNFALL is the PRICE of the replacement cartridges.

The ink always dries quickly and I have never had to re-print anything because of a smear!

I always buy the two-pack when purchasing new cartridges for a slightly better value (since there are no other cartridges or refill kits available).

If you use them like me, watch for the sales where you buy one at regular price and get the 2nd for 40% off....and take advantage of it!! (instead of paying +$25.00 per cartridge - it ends up being about $20.00 per cartridge!!)--And in today's time...that savings adds up!!

Other than the high price...the ink is great!! Pictures turn out with great detail; charts/graphs are wonderful; and word documents are clean & crisp! I don't believe there's a better, more consistent ink cartridge out there!

canon ink cartridges

originally purchased canon ip1800 printer because cartridges were less expensive than printer being replaced. now it seems everytime i buy new cartridges, the price has increased. this is compounded by the fact that the cartridges don't last very long. we are not heavy users of theprinter, so it is hard to say how many copies we obtain from a cartridge. i'm almost to the point where i wish the printer would break , so i could purchase something else. 2 cartridges now cost me almost as much as the printer did, and the printer came with a black and a color cartridge. Industry has quite a system, give away the printer, then screw over the customer for the life of the printer on cartridge expense. I wish i could do without the printer, but i can't.
