Sensible Selection and Savings

I use a lot of ink between my personal hobbies, college-level teaching and the like and have always liked Canon printers, including my current MP640. As with every brand of all-in-one product the key element of success is the ink used, specifically, the availability of replacement cartridges and especially their cost. Happily, Staples almost without exception has had the required cartridges in its nearbly location but the prices are still a bit of an issue - for the Canon brand replacement ink, as opposed to the Staples versions of same. This particular packaging more often than not proves to be the most cost-effective solution as it reflects pretty much by volume how I actually consume the ink, the exception being the smaller black ink cartridge which runs out much less frequently than the others.

When putting them in the printer, after pulling the tabs some ink leaked. A little messy, open with caution.

I only use Cannon ink for my Cannon printer. I have found that the quality of the ink and printer is second to none. I am able to print professional looking photo's from my digital camera without leaving home. I prefer buying the ink in the 6 pack because I am able to save money versus buying the catridges seperately and I need all of the catridges anyway. Because I print alot of black and white documents I have found that I do use 2 large black ink tanks before I run out of any of the smaller color ink tanks so I don't have any "extra" ink when I buy this combo pack.

Ink Cartridges, Combo 6/ Pack by Canon does what it is supposed to
do, it provides an ink solution for my canon printer. The fact that
it is a clean and very easy ink solution is a bonus. The extra
Canon PGI-220 BK is very much appreciated; black always runs out
first. The staff at the Staples store was very helpful and
extremely professional. I would not recommend a canon printer (this
will be my last one), but the ink replacement process is made easy by
the Canon PGI-220 BK/ CLI-221 Black and Color C/M/Y Ink Cartridges,
Combo 6/ Pack

My daughters use a huge amount of ink for their health related classes copies and drawings of anatomy. Using the ink in larger packages and also being a rewards customer and getting free paper with the rebates has cut the cost of two students in college at the same time! I always buy the paper and ink when it is on sale and also am able to get more rewards from redeeming ink so that combining all of these programs makes the purchases a lot more economical than it would be at another store without having all of these programs.
